Legal eService is the process of notifying and sending service to the opposing counsel on a case through an electronic transmission instead of the traditional faxing or certified mail processes.

At the time you press submit on CFX, we send your filing to the court and simultaneously notify opposing counsel that they have been served. The filer and the attorney of record will receive a receipt or “proof of service” in a .pdf document via email. The proof of service includes the jurisdiction, court assignment, the trace number of the filing, the time and date it was filed, the serving attorney, the case number, the case title, name of the documents filed and the attorneys served.

The days of filling out fax cover sheets and certified mail and return receipt forms are gone. With CFX, you can “eServe” one attorney or hundreds with just a click of a button and for one flat rate.
