Tammy Carter
Founder and General Manager
Tammy Carter founded CaseFileXpress in 2002 and serves as the General Manager and a member of the Board of Directors for MMC Group, Inc. In her role, she provides direction of the company and the products, including design and development. Additionally, she leads business development and client relationships and oversees day-to-day operations.

Under her leadership, CaseFileXpress was the first approved Electronic Filing Service Provider for both Texas State Courts and the Washington D.C. Superior Courts. Ms. Carter has grown CaseFileXpress to be the leading eFiling provider, representing 89 of the top 100 U.S. law firms. This leadership is driven by her desire to listen to challenges of CaseFileXpress clients and ensure high-quality customer support 24x7. Even as the CaseFileXpress customer-base has grown to more than 20,000 registered filers, she insists on continuing the pillars that the business was founded upon - front-line customer support, complete training and innovative solutions.

Ms. Carter is a frequent writer and presenter on the topics of legal eFiling, “greening” the law office and law firm automation. She has trained thousands of attorneys and paralegals in the use and benefits of eFiling for more than six years.  The curriculum she developed for CaseFileXpress is certified by the Texas State Bar of Texas for Continuing Legal Education. Additionally, this participation allows her to stay current on the challenges faced by her clients.

She is a graduate of the California State University, Sacramento with a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems. She has more than 20 years of public and private sector experience in Management Information Systems and consulting. In honor of her business success, Ms. Carter was recently named a finalist in the Entrepreneur category of Profiles in Power by the Austin Business Journal. In addition to her business experience, she played two seasons on the The Future's Tour and the Gold Coast Tour.
